Baby, baby, please let me hold him I wanna make him stay up all night
Welcome to my…womb. Just kidding! Not really though. I suppose after the birth of Robo Baby I’ll transition into a “Mommy Blogger”, right? Isn’t that the way it works?
Weeeeeell. I have trouble sticking to one main “theme”, plus I refuse to do paid posts and use advertising, so I won’t really be a “Mommy Blogger”. I’ll just be a blogger…and a mom.
Josh and I already refer to ourselves as “Mommy” and “Daddy” when it comes to the dogs anyway, but ONLY AROUND THE DOGS, that embarrassing behavior would be completely intolerable to any er, houseguests. I know this.
Same goes for all the various dog-themed tunes I howl at my animals when I get home from work: I would never let a human see me do that. Humiliating! My dogs, however, can’t tell me to shut up! Ha!
Three times a week we are doing a strength-training session from this book together. Last night Josh got a little too riled up with his play “punching” and punched me in the tit and then I yelled at him for a good 10 minutes and then worked out without him. Good Times!
Dressed up in pink and polka dots (with a lot of cleavage) to hang out with some ladies I work with. One of them threw an essential oils party at her house on Saturday night. I developed a mild headache after sniffing all the oils and didn’t buy anything, but it was fun to be the only non-drinker in the room and partake in GOSSIP. I loooove to gossip, I know it’s a terrible vice but one I thoroughly enjoy.
My co-worker’s living room was all decked out in teal and red, two colors I find very pleasing together. I liked these little lamps she had on display.
I’d been meaning to photograph this amazing red-leaved tree near the dogpark for weeks. Most of the leaves had fallen onto the ground by the time we finally made it over there. Still, pretty pretty!
The floral Mandala is nearly completion…which is always the most challenging part. Finishing…well, anything, really.
Bear Cub has a new boyfriend, and it is ADORABLE watching them roll around in the mud and snap at each other. I was beginning to think the old lady was all dried up, but nope! Get it, Bear!
The blue-haired dude and I both have some more tests at the fertility center this week. He has another sperm test, and I have a few mildly invasive tests (with acronyms I cannot recall right now). I gave the center a ton of my blood and they have been sending back lots of test results…negative for Hep B, Hep C, HIV and Chlamydia (hooray!), and good thyroid, hormone levels, follicles. Everything so far is a “Go”…thank God.
Too bad my green holographic lipgloss didn’t work out. Oh yeah, I’m supposed to stop buying make-up for Robo Baby. Well, other than the essentials, of course. A girl’s gotta have essentials. Is a 70 dollar BB cream by Dr. Jart an essential??
It is cold and unpleasant outside and all I wanna do is lie around and drink coffee and eat hearty soups, but the dogs must be walked.
Today’s mood: TEAL. Later dudes.
I wanted to add my best wishes on your new endeavor, “robo-baby”, I think you guys will make fantastic parents. What you mentioned about clueless people proferring unkind and unsolicited advice is an unfortunate side effect of our facebook smothered lives where all feel entitled to opinions they do not deserve but should at least have the tact to keep to themselves,to hell with them. Good luck.
Thanks K! 🙂
