MY LITTLE BROTHER IS ENGAGED! I’m so happy for him! I knew that he was proposing this week, but I didn’t want to bother him, so on Monday I texted my father instead: Did he pop the question yet?

Last night around 10 pm my father finally texted me back: It’s done.

I replied: I guess I had better check Facebook, huh?

Then five seconds later my brother called and relayed the happy news. Hurray and hurrah for love! Also hurray and hurrah for my mother FINALLY getting those red-haired grandchildren she put in a request for like, 5 years ago. You know.

In other news, a co-worker of mine wants to sell her house before she moves to Virginia next month, so we have an appointment to check it out tonight. I have a goal to finish the Holly painting this weekend. We both have to work Monday, so it’s not much of a Memorial Day weekend ’round here! Happy Friday, blog-logs!
