My big fat Christmas vacation (the end)
Happy New Year! Here are some more Christmas photos, this time from the new camera.
A wall in one of the quilting shops the gals went to. It was a very charming little place.
Love this decorative minkie fabric.
Glamping? SIGN ME UP! Oh wait, I think I already do that. Behold:
Second day of cross country skiing. The landscape was beautiful!
Evidently the new camera formats everything long and skinny. I wonder if that can be changed.
Your pal. Am I having fun yet?
These ski bunnies certainly were!
An accidental shot that turned out kind of pretty. Take THAT for minimalist, slightly psychedelic landscape photos, Matt French!
So here’s the primary reason why I like the new camera–the “beauty” effect. I am wearing no make-up here (except lip gloss), and the effect has added lashes, blush, and smoothed out the texture of my skin. Gorgeous!
“You look sickly,” said Josh, hovering over my shoulder a moment ago.
“Why?”
“All pale…” he grumbled.
“It’s WINTER!” I shouted at him. Hell, Seattle Suntan keeps sending me daily e-mails, should I be ORANGE this time of year, just to be perverse? Hold that thought. I’ll be back.
You look beautiful, don’t listen to him! BTW what lipstain do you use? I cannot find one that works! ENJOY!
It’s by Loreal, it’s this one: http://www.drugstore.com/loreal-paris-colour-riche-caresse-wet-shine-stain-infinite-fuschia-187-fuschia/qxp461753?catid=183589
I loooooove it. Thanks Liz!
Also if you want your lipstain to last foreeeever the one by Makeup Forever, with the gloss on one side and the stain on the other, is amazing.
I just bought a new one today by Revlon–I’ll let you know if it works out. Someone recommended it highly. I’m a lipstain connoisseur!
OK I just tried the Revlon one in “Smitten”. Fabulous color, but it has a minty smell! Ugh. I don’t like mint in my lipstuffs. It’s basically a big ol’ crayon, pretty effortless to put on.
