Random randomness
A run with the furry fam last Saturday. Those white tennis shoes are the ugliest, but unfortunately they are also the most functional (booooo). Note my fall colors: orange and, underneath, my yellow “Pee on Me” shirt. Always classy! I attempted to go to the dog park today with the pets, because if I don’t they antagonize me like little children, but it didn’t work out too well. 1. I have a cold and 2. it is cold. Who knew I’d need to break out the down jacket in OCTOBER? Noooot readyyyyy.
Normally a trip to “Display & Costume” is worth dressing up for and taking 500 pictures with the camera, but we spontaneously dropped by last weekend and weren’t feeling it. My outfit wasn’t cute or anything. Not even this rainbow wig was working! I ended up leaving with zero new false eyelashes, no wigs…but a “Halloween”-themed Cadbury egg with neon green creme which was just about the grossest thing I ate all week. I would advise against it.
At last Sunday’s WW meeting I was surprised when they awarded me for losing 10% of my body weight. In return for the 40+ dollars I shell out to WW each month, I received this weird little keychain. “Worth it”?
Yes this is the most random blog entry ever, and no it doesn’t bother me a bit. Here’s Schnubs standing on one of several dirt mounds we now have in the backyard, in attempts to fill in the holes. Did I mention that our landlord deposited 500 dollars worth of dirt on our front lawn and then asked Josh if he would be kind enough to dispense it into the holes? Seriously. And Josh said yes, never mind that he’s been suffering from “tennis elbow” for the last 2 months (without actually playing tennis). My husband is too nice.
Gross. But also strangely beautiful. I made a miniskirt out of neon green spider fabric yesterday. Does this mean I’m getting over my arachnophobia? Is it similar to the “Costanza Effect”? We shall see.
I can’t believe my plants are still blooming! I guess next year we’ll have to start planting in…February.
The mums came back beautifully.
Ughfff, ungh, and whiiiiiine. No Phyllis Diller painting for me today. Nope, I’m going to make a massive pot of chili for dinner tonight and settle in with some horror movie recommendations recently given to me and that’s all she wrote.
Any of you blog readers partaking in “Horror Movie October”? Any recommendations? I’m sick so the heavier the film, THE BETTER. Why, I even watched the Maysles’ “Gimme Shelter” this week, and if that ain’t a horror film, I don’t know what is.
