Cute Corinne, colorful plants and an inspiring palette
Here’s Corinne looking super cute when I visited her on her day off from work a week ago. She had full eye make-up and the cutest little spiral curls, curtesy of that Bumble & Bumble sea salt spray that everyone and their mom is obsessed with, and I get it! If my hair had ANY sort of natural wave I’d be all over that shit, price be damned. I gave the bottle an envious sniff.
Some of Corinne’s new outdoor plants. This was about two seconds before I begged her to pull out her nailpolish collection so I could take care of my toenails. I can’t stand bare toenails!
Look at her little garden! I’m so proud of her. I sat outside and played with Maggie and Bear Cub and a neighbor Lab that wandered over while Corinne dug up her garden and planted and sweated.
I like these weird, sponge-looking flowers.
Of course, I didn’t just drive over to watch Corinne garden, I was also interested in playing with her new “Ariel” palette from Sephora.
Predictably, my favorite shades are the glittery green “Fins”, the glittery blue “Caspian Sea”, and OF COURSE, the glittery purple “Sea Witch”.
Poor unfortunate souls
In pain, in need
This one longing to be thinner
That one wants to get the girl
And do I help them?
Yes, indeed
Here I am with at least 3 shades from the palette on, geeking out, and believe me, this is the BEST picture out of the 4 I took. Sigh. Well, you know. It’s hard to do a nice self-portrait session when someone is snickering at you (Corinne!).
Juice fasting today, and out of solidarity, so is Josh. Currently I’m drinking fruit juice + ice + soy milk + protein powder + strawberries/pineapple/oranges, and it tastes pretty good, but I don’t have a sense of “fullness”. Exercise today will probably involve yoga–something nice and non-strenuous. Yyyyyyeah.
