Squirrelfriends! I hope you are joining me in watching the Eleganza ExtravaGANZA of the 5th season of “Drag Race”! Of course, Jinkx Monsoon is my sentimental favorite, 1. because she’s the first contestant from Seattle and 2. because I’ve seen her perform live, and she’s got charisma, uniqueness, nerve AND talent, as Ru would say. She is also “Seattle’s premier Jewish narcoleptic drag queen!”, as she announced during the show (loooove). Other early favorites of mine include Vivienne Pinay, ’cause she’s gorgeous (not to mention I have this thing for Filipinos), and that wallpaper gown Lineysha Sparx makes for the runway competition?! GURL.

Bonus: I just discovered that my sister-in-law and her husband are into “Drag Race” now too–they watch it together and are OBSESSED! Maw! Jerry and I finally have something to talk about!
