My interview is at 1 today. I’m not particularly nervous–I already have one job, so it’s not like I’m depending on landing this second one–but I do hate afternoon appointments. What am I supposed to do in the meantime, before the appointment? Jiggling around on the treadmill to the last few episodes of “Maude” seems appropriate.

In other news, Corinne called me up yesterday morning to tell me that Groupon was having a sale on Hedwig tickets! We’d heard about the show last month, and I put “buy tickets” on my to-do list until it was discovered that we were Poor, so I sadly crossed it off. However, tickets were on sale for 19 bucks! Even Poors can afford that. I bought the Boy and I tickets–with Corinne’s work schedule she cannot, unfortunately, attend with us (BOO). Best part is, I bought tickets for next Wednesday, which is my 5 year sobriety anniversary! FIVE YEARS. Boggles the mind, eh? I’d wanted to do something special that night to celebrate (my Aunt Lisa suggested I buy myself jewelry–I love her), and Hedwig is perfect! Thanks, Corinne!
