Frosting, glitter purses, and the current painting
Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection…the lovers, the dreamers, and meeeeeee…. Sometimes we watch movies like “The Muppet Movie” together. Because we’re young at heart, oh dontcha know.
Speaking of young at heart, here’s the Boy snarfing down frosting straight from the can. CLASS! I asked him what he wanted for dinner tonight a few minutes ago and he told me he wants to go back on the Fatkins “induction” diet, which means, basically, no carbs, for a couple of weeks. Fine with me. I’ve spent the last two days abusing the hell out of cashews and “Birthday Cake” jello anyway.
Glittery little purse from Brenna. I like the fact that the line is not only created by a Seattle mom “who finds sheer joy in all things glittery” (UH HUH!), but that part of her proceeds are donated to nonprofits supporting local moms and kids. Her website is here, check it out!
I’ve been working my way through the hysterically funny and extremely inappropriate “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (thanks, Netflix) while I paint. I think Season 5 might be my favorite, but I am enjoying fat Mac in Season 7.
The current painting, Candy Darling. Yesterday I painted for about 6 solid hours–once I got to a stopping point with Candy Darling I pulled out the dog silhouettes I started a while back to finish up. Painting is good for me right now!
LOVE the new painting and the doggies silhouettes. Sorry to hear one is at the vet I hope she feels better soon!
Thanks Krista! 🙂
