San Fran Love, Part 10: the wharf
Are we there yet? The Boy and I spotted this furry orange backpack on the way down to the wharf. Later on I caught up with the girl (the Boy thought she was a he) and complimented her. She told me, in an unidentifiable accent (something European) that she made it herself. Of course!
We did a little browsing around some of the shops but didn’t buy anything except a paper sack with with fresh hot mini donuts. I mean, wouldn’t you?
“I want the world…I want the whole world…”
Skinny jeans are still popular in San Francisco. I miss my skinny jeans! Some daaaaaaaaaayyyyyy…
Hi. Today at work I wore a dress I bought in high school, can you believe that shit? I’ve had that dress for half my life! And it was vintage to begin with! Good thing the 90s were all about baggy silhouettes–otherwise I could never still wear my high school clothes.
Check out these lazy ass sea lions. I like the one sea gull in the middle, like a boss.
There’s mah man. Tonight for dinner I am making baked potatoes smothered in margarine and soy “sour cream” with fake “ribs”. It’s surprisingly tasty. No, not as tasty as actual ribs, silly. But it satisfies comfort food cravings!
We wandered around the wharf until it got so cold I couldn’t stand it anymore. I almost broke down and bought a huge, avocado-colored woolen scarf, but I’m glad I didn’t. I have too many scarves already that I never wear.
This is a neat shot, with Coit Tower in the background.
Before we went back to our hotel that evening we stopped at a couple of little galleries to check out the art. On the way to the car we stopped to gaze in awe at…
The most amazing double rainbow! I mean, this photo doesn’t really do it justice. Look at this guy’s shot of it! People were stopped all over the sidewalks and streets, snapping photos. We went inside one gallery and urged one of the gallery employees to come outside and check it out. He did!
The sunset was so beautiful that night. I didn’t edit this photo at all–the colors really were that bright.
What a beautiful evening! And those donuts were DELICIOUS! Ugh, I love food. Me and Lady Gaga, ya know. Love it.
