San Fran Love, Part 7: the Castro
Yeah, that’s right. More San Fran photos! I mean, I took 644, what else would you expect? Next up: our (brief) visit to the Castro!
Graffiti truck! The other side was hot pink.
Reminds me of “A Clockwork Orange“.
Oh, I spy a rainbow flag! We must be in the Castro district, which is famous for being gay gay gay gay gay.
I was worried that my rainbow sweatshirt was too much. I see now, it wasn’t nearly enough.
Looooove it. Marilyn with a beard and glitter eyes and lips.
Maw. This reminded me of the temple at Burning Man.
I bought a rainbow sticker and passed on a leather bear, WHICH I REGRET.
Then we left and stopped to gawk at the Golden Gate Bridge, briefly.
Follow me on Instagram where I am posting close-up pictures that the Boy took during his run on the bridge, and you can really see how cool and Art Deco it is. @thewhocaresgirl! And hurry up, my 18 followers are dropping like flies. What did I do?
In work-related news, I have a patient who has a son who is an actor on a current hit t.v. show, married to an actress I LOVE. I can’t say who, of course. But she’s…blonde.
Here I am waiting for the Boy in the car in a crusty part of town while he runs into a questionable quickie mart for booze and I lock the doors and pray no one attacks me. Or, you know, eats me, sheeeeyit.
Stay tuned for MORE! So much more.
