lovely camping, tra la la (part 2)

river rocks
Back in the saddle, agaaaaaaaaaain.

rockyscape
I contacted my cousin via F@cebook and asked her if being pregnant was like being “on acid” (this time around). She said no, she just felt tired all the time. And her boobs hurt, at first. No morning sickness though, which was good because she “hated to throw up”.

three on the rocks
I hate to throw up too! And my mother never had morning sickness, so I’m hoping I’ll be the same way. I would love to be pregnant the same time as my cousin. I tried really hard to get knocked up this month, and tomorrow is my scheduled period start date, so we’ll see what happens. I’ve got my monkey toes crossed.

rock peace sign
Naw, we didn’t make this peace sign. But it’s pretty cool, eh?

Maggie on the flat rock
Camping is the best. What’s not to love about it?

Maggie is tired
It wears Maggie out beautifully. Bear Cub is a little more vigilant; she’s our “guard” dog.

happy camping face
Happy camping face! Also: those Crest whitening strips appear to be working. My teeth are no longer the same color as my hair (ew).

unripe blueberries
The ground was covered with blueberry bushes, but unfortunately none of them were ripe yet.

camp
Our secluded little camp. Apparently Sunday was National “Go Topless Day”–good thing I “participated” for about 10 minutes, until the pups needed a little support. You know how it is.

stylin
The Boy showing off his camping style.

reading position
We guzzled cocoa and read books for a couple of hours before going to bed, because we are old people. None of this, staying up til 3 in the morning with a campfire nonsense, no sir. No campfire at all, actually. Fire danger! That whole area over there just suffered major forest fires. You can camp without a fire, it is possible.

Schnub love
Awwww, my little Schnubber. Crazy bout that Bear Cub.

I’m going to force myself to do some weight lifting today, blog logs! What are you doing?

  1. We’ve been too busy to camp this year which is sad as it’s one of my faves too! We are planning to try in September! Your little spot looks great!

    1. September camping is great, because the kids are back in school so it’s far easier to camp with no one around! We want to fit in one more weekend in the mountains too before the weather gets too cold.
