Rogs, BB creams, and crappy ebay sellers
Now that the Pride photos are over, here are some photos from a trip last week that Corinne and I and the dogs took to beautiful Magnuson Park.
Well, maybe the “open dog area” isn’t so pretty. But it gets better!
See? Ahhhhh, water and dogs and beach.
Um, excuse me sir, you’re in the way. Actually, you know, he’s kind of cute. Dammit, Corinne, missed opportunity!
Not that we were in any position to impress that day. No make-up, greasy hair, a liberal application of spf 45, I still had my gym clothes on–and we went to Sephora that way. Gasp!
I had to talk Corinne into it. “I look like a schlub,” she protested.
“They don’t care! They’re taking our money!” I told her.
“That’s true.”
I may go back to Sephora today to sample some BB creams, for fun. It’s impossible to tell what you’re getting based on the website description. Do I want this one or this one? I ordered some Korean BB cream samples back in December from Amazon but was not particularly impressed. Then again, I could have gotten “fakes” (ugh).
Speaking of fakes, I ordered a white dress with rainbow stripes from ebay and the day after Pride (of course) a hideous, sheer black dress with stripes arrived. Nothing like the dress I ordered. I contacted the seller and they said they would send me off a new one, right away. WE’LL SEE.
Let’s just say I’m skeptical. Also, the “tracking number” they gave me brought up this on USPS: Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. Greeeeaaaaaat.
Happy Thursday! I have high hopes…to go to the gym, vacuum and go to Sephora and paint my nails. Oh, and go grocery shopping and make dinner. Let’s see how many of those items pan out…GO!
update: 4 out of 6 ain’t bad.
