Over the weekend we saw “Prometheus”. I am a big big fan of the Alien movies, and this one was…eh. Okay. I mean, it didn’t have Sigourney Weaver in it, so how good could it be? Also it didn’t really seem to resemble the other Alien movies AT ALL, except for the token, familiar H.R. Giger-style alien at the very end. Was that a spoiler? It’s not really a spoiler.

I also finally watched “We Need to Talk about Kevin”, which was a little muddled, and ultimately unsatisfying. However, Tilda Swinton was of course, perfection. Isn’t she always! Team Swinton!

This is my very favorite moment of “The Office”. Incidentally, the bloopers on youtube are a lot funnier than the actual show.

Hey lettuce, I’m a gonna eat you!

In about an hour I’ll be getting my hair cut and highlighted. I haven’t gotten highlights since 2010–I remember, fondly, how dry it makes my roots, which is wonderful. I have a greasy roots phobia. Greasy hair, period. It makes it difficult for me to enjoy the films of Ethan Hawk and Clea Duvall.

The Boy spotted a double rainbow driving home from work the other day and left me this enchanting message. Note, in the video: current nail polish, current Elle magazine (horrible cover, Elle), current overpriced lotion I got tricked into buying at the tanning salon, and an important staple of my diet: dark chocolate chips. Straight out of the sack, baby!
