Here’s my first attempt at making my photos have lovely rounded edges–something I’ve been interested in doing for a while. I love rounded edges! Remember my business cards?

Anyhoo, I wasted far too much time this morning researching “adding rounded corners to photos in photoshop” and then trying to apply those lessons to the incredibly outdated “Jasc Paint Shop Pro” program that I STILL use to edit my photos (it’s from the 90s, dudes).

After messing around with layers and getting exasperated, I discovered how to do it in two seconds: change the selection tool to rounded rectangle, make the shape, and hit “crop to selection”. BAM! Rounded edges! Now, why was that so hard?

We got this temporary screen door (it attaches via velcro) for the back door so I can have the door hanging open all summer the way I like without 10,000 bugs flying in. Bear Cub still isn’t all that crazy about walking through it. Wuss.

In the meantime, I am growing vegetables.

Can you believe it’s the first of June?!? The weather outside certainly doesn’t indicate that summer is near, but my orange epidermis does!
