somebody told me that you had a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend
The neon snowsuit is BACK! Sorta.
I found him trying it on before Sunday’s ski session. Nice hair, husband (snicker).
He didn’t wear it, of course, because apparently spring skiing is warm and he just always ends up wearing the silver raver pants and a tee-shirt and then gets an unattractive farmer’s tan.
He said some news cameras were out and they captured him for the evening news (which we couldn’t watch since we don’t have t.v.). Apparently the news crew asked where he got his outrageous silver pants.
“I wish your store name was easier to remember,” he complained.
“What’s so hard to remember? “Pettipants Revolution on Etsy“! “Pettipants Revolution on Etsy!” What did you say?”
“I said, “My wife made ’em!”” he replied.
Damn! Free advertising, foiled again. Maybe I should buy a massive stock of metallic liquid lame and just start making raver pants?
Look at these adorable navy Saltwater sandals I ordered recently. Everyone and their mom claims these bad boys run “large”, but…
…everyone and their mom doesn’t have monkey toes, evidently, because they were just a tad too small, and I had to ship them back and order a size up. Sob! I can’t wait to wear them with EVERYthing.
The current bouquet, thanks to a roadside stand near our house that pops up on days that aren’t totally rainy and shitty. The Boy paid 10 dollars for it, and then informed me that the bouquets at the grocery store that he usually buys for me (that aren’t nearly as pretty) cost 15 dollars. Oof! Who knew? I estimated them around 7.
And speaking of underestimating cost, I pretty much broke even with the last batch of crap I sold on ebay. Try as I might, I consistently underestimate shipping cost, every single damn time. How do people figure that out correctly? Help Mumma.
Help Mumma, sweetie! Well, I’m here to help, dahling! After having the same problem with estimating shipping, I finally bought a postal scale. I’ve been using it for years now, and I rarely have to pay out of pocket on shipping (or fees). They have close to 2000 different listings for postal scales on ebay right now and you can get them for cheap. I don’t think I paid more than $20 for mine, including s/h, and it has worked faithfully for years. I’ve been selling vintage toys and rare fabric on ebay for probably close to 10 years and would be happy to help with any questions you have. It’s a lot of fun when you can make it stress free! Good luck, sweetie dahling!
oooh, a postal scale! I would have NEVER thought of that, seriously. thank you!!!
P.S. I love your Saltwater sandals! They are the best! I need to get a pair for Abby. Uh oh…hello, middle of the night on-line shopping! 😉
oh thanks! deciding on a color is the hardest part! 🙂 and they are totally affordable.
