In anticipation for the Color Run, I bought these capri-length tie-dyed leggings online. Normally for anything super bright and stretchy I would order from “We Love Colors” (p.s., I still love you, “We Love Colors”), but since everything I wear to the race is going to get drenched in colored powder I didn’t want to order something nice and have it get ruined. Hence, these 10 dollar leggings.
Out of the box, insanely small. Here they are next to a game controller for comparison.
Good thing they st-r-eeeee-t-ch! A LOT. I’m pretty stoked to think about this tutu getting saturated with color–although it will no longer glow under the black light. Cause that’s um, so important.
Liberty London for Dr. Martens YES PLEASE! According to a quick internet search they’ll be released on May 1st. Excellent timing! I am obsessed with florals right now.
Like these, for example. I hear you, I hear you!
And all together now, oooooooh. See, I knew I kept you around for a reason, “Elle” magazine subscription.
Recently I watched “The Sons of Tennessee Williams”, a very interesting documentary about the gays in New Orleans who started the first drag balls in the 1950s. Know your gay history!
And remember what Ru says, “Reading is fund-a-mental!” Speaking of reading, here’s Jujubee doing my favorite reading of all time on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” (including the infamous “dairy” line that the Boy and I pull out regularly):
You’re welcome!
Every day should be a Bear Cub day. Now, if you’ll excuse me, arf arf.
I just finished that season of Drag Race! I was partial to Raven.
Raven’s from Seattle! I thought she was cuter as a man, personally. Tyra was completely annoying but when she stepped on the runway–POW! Naomi Campbell fierceness, every single damn time.
Love you the dyed leggings and what girl doesn’t love a tutu 🙂 Good luck in that fun run! Those printed skinny jeans are making me so want a pair too!
thanks Krista! Tutu Love 4 Life.
