Spring, Love, and home malfunctions
The sunshine encouraged me to dress up, take some photos, and attempt more spring cleaning/finding items for the donation box (which always leads to 2423 different kinds of distractions, but still).
I also made this “Love” magnet for the refrigerator. Note the coffee stains.
My mother-in-law ordered a pair of custom pettipants! I’m not charging her, though. No charge for mothers and mother-in-laws.
“If this pettipants thing doesn’t work out,” I told the Boy last night, “I can always go back to my other idea–selling decorated wig heads!”
He snorted and said, “I think you have a better chance with the pettipants.”
Lately he mows the grass in a pleasing, artistic swirly pattern.
The moles are a never-ending problem. In the past week we also had the ant exterminator come out and spray all around the house (pet-safe, of course). He assured me that the spray works for spiders too, hooray!
A mysterious, multi-colored and bubbling stain on the bathroom ceiling kept growing, so I finally called our landlord. He went up into the attic and found the leak, temporarily sealed it up but informed us that our entire roof needs to be replaced. This is one of those instances when I’m grateful that we’re only renting.
I could not resist this mini rosebush at the grocery store. I need to plant it outside today.
I have work lined up for tomorrow, yes! I’m hoping today the weather will be sunny and fabulous and then tomorrow it’ll be gloom and doom. However, the weather rarely complies with my wishes. Sniff.
