Pour a drink, here’s some links!
The Boy (iphone) photographed some delightful graffiti during his rainy run with the girls last weekend.
I’m considering getting an iphone (after talking shit about them for years). What’s happened to change my mind is that some people only respond to me via text message, and the old school cell phone I’ve had for the past __ years makes text messaging incredibly inconvenient. Tap-tippity-tap-tap…it takes me five minutes to get out a couple of words.
The only thing stopping me now is that I’m CHEAP! CHEAP! CHEAP! and I’d rather spend the money on fabric!
Tonight’s dinner is going to involve blueberry pancakes and turkey bacon! The Broad and I have plans that may or may not involve an Elliptical trainer! My boobs have been hurting so badly for the past several days, one has to wonder…is it FINALLY baby time?! And without further ado…how about some links?
1. Jessica Swift: fabulous designer who’s philosophy is: “Live color to the max”. Yes please!
2. The Fashion Turd interviews one of my favorite bloggers, Helga Von Trollop! Here’s an excerpt:
a few likes and a few dislikes in terms of dress sense:
I dislike camel toes quite intensely. Also capris (esp with camel toes) and crocs offend me deeply. I also dislike lack of effort.
I like overdoing it. It really is impossible to be overdressed, in my opinion. I like frocks!
3. Boho Girl: a sweet blog with beautiful photography about health, spirituality and family.
4. Cubist Literature: he’s cute, gay, and wrote an excellent piece for xojane called “I was an Etsy celebrity…but I don’t like to talk about it” that well…spoke to me.
And last, but not least:
5. Ernestine Shephard: my mother told me that Ernestine is her new inspiration for keeping fit. Ernestine is 75 years old, and made the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s oldest female body builder. Not only is she amazing-looking, but here’s the clinker: she didn’t even start working out until age 56! Inspiring indeed!
