rah rah ree, kick ’em in the knee…
These snowy photos are from last week. Thanks to the rain rain raaaiiiin, the snow is gone now.
The Boy built the snowman; I added the flair.
That is an actual carrot, friends. Jealous?
The snow impacted my lifestyle (ha ha, “lifestyle”) very little this year. The day I had to drive down to the mechanic with non-working windshield wipers while actual snow was coming down was a little scary, but I soothed myself with a vanilla latte and a face-sized chocolate cookie and that made it all better.
My, er, “snowdog” in the backyard. Discouraged by the outcome I smashed my foot through snowdog moments later.
Tee hee. I’m sick. What do sick people cook for dinner? I’m going to look up crockpot recipes after I get off this blarg. I like the idea of tossing a bunch of shit into a pot and then 4-5 hours later, poof, dinner.
The inner coat portion of the glorious blue coat I bought the Boy for Christmas. He keeps finding cool hidden pockets. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
My mother-in-law graciously gave me this quilt hoop, which helps stretch the fabric while you’re tying the quilt, so the quilt has a smoother appearance.
“Maybe my quilts will look nicer now?” I mused out loud.
“I always thought you wanted ’em to look lumpy like that,” the Boy snickered at me. NO!
I love that quilt so far!!
thanks! all scrap fabric, except for the back.
