Hey have you heard it’s a word party
What’s up, blog? I’m back. I said I’d be back and I YAM, I YAM.
Mmm, you don’t have to twist my arm, National Donut Day.
I am 26 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and Baby C is the size of an acorn squash (yuck).
A lovely physical therapist at work taped up my belly to relieve back pressure 3 weeks ago (!!!) and I haven’t had a lick of back pain since! It’s a pregnancy miracle!
It’s also a friggin’ miracle that the tape is still on there, considering it was placed three weeks ago. And I shower every single day. Huh.
I’ve got an art show coming up in a few weeks and I’ll have a few of these wooden pieces to sell. I’m going to price them kind of low, like for 30$, and see what happens.
Josh built me this sexy grape arbor in our back yard. On Father’s Day, we purchased another grapevine to replace the one that died last year.
So what has happened in the month since I last blogged? I had a long detailed anatomy ultrasound for the little guy; everything looks great. Head is in the 60th percentile, not the 90th like Baby M (OUCH).
Erika, Aunt Claire, and two of Erika’s three boys came for a weekend visit. We went to a craft show downtown which was fun.
Father’s Day 2019! The beach was a bit of a bust. The tide was really high, it was cold and windy, and the baby was cranky. So we huddled on the chairs we brought for about ten minutes, scarfed down some trail mix and left. Cute picture of the boys, though!
Your mom and dad on the beach.
A mama with her two boys. I finally bought Baby C something yesterday at Fred Meyer’s–an adorable little dino hoodie, matching maroon onesie and tiny navy leggings. Awwwwww-dorable.
“Cheese!” is right! That book, by the way, is awful. Josh picked it up at a garage sale and I lasted about five pages before I tossed it aside in disgust.
Another wooden art project. This photo doesn’t convey how glittery it is!
There’s my sweet second son. He’ll be here in about three months. Crazy.
I was so touched when the daughter of a former patient of mine made these for Baby C and gave them to me at work. Nobody else has shown a lot of interest in him! Second baby syndrome.
For the past month, twice a week I’ve been taking this old dog down to the vet for injections for her arthritis. They’ve given her a little more mobility.
Erika and the boys! Hendrix is so sweet, and looks exactly like Erika. Cash is a chatterbox and greatly enjoyed bossing M around. We had a lovely visit.
Family resemblance! We’re even wearing the same shoes.
Goo at the “splash pad”. Boy did he have a blast! I love that he’s wearing his fedora. Such a little man.
What else? It hasn’t been very hot yet this summer, which I am thankful about. My parents sent us an A/C unit, which is in our bedroom and is helping a LOT.
Awwww Lew and Shirley celebrated their 70th anniversary with a party at their house. Adorable.
I paid 73$ for these friggin’ fabrics to make my new baby two baby blankets. Outrageous!!!
Ehhhhhh well if you want to read what Chelsea Handler has been discussing with her new therapist over the past 2 years dive in. I prefer her older works.
Still going to the gym oh yeah! Gotta balance out those ice cream sandwiches. I’m already up every two hours at night to pee, GROAN.
Goo’s first trip to the dentist! He was shy at first but eventually he allowed them to count all 20 of his tiny little teeth.
Mumsie is visiting while my Dad has someone installing hardwood floors in the top level of their house. She has been cleaning and cooking for us the entire time, I LOVE IT. Ta ta for now, bloggers!
