Hello blog. This is weird. The baby broke the computer last month and we haven’t figured out how to fix it yet…so I’m blogging on a phone, sans photos. Oh, the photos are still there, mind you…on Flickr, on Instagram…but I have no idea how to link them here so just plain old text it is!

I hate not having a working computer. There are only a few things I need it for, like blogging and photo-related projects and printing, and not having it to use is a pain in the ass.

Here’s the problem: the monitor is black. We have an HP computer that has, up until now, worked well. The blue light is on the monitor but there is no picture at all. Josh even bought another monitor at the thrift shop and we had the exact same problem: blue light on, all signs point to yes, but a black screen. Crazy!

We are going to maybe enlist Jerry’s help this Friday (on our 10 year anniversary!) but after that, I may have to PAY someone to figure this out. Bummer. I’m still paying for my baby! My 18 month old baby!

So…what happened in July? We successfully went camping with the baby, that was fun. We went to the beach! We went for bike rides! Notably, I had my very first outdoor art show at the P-Patch in Ballard and it was so much fun! I hit my pre-pregnancy weight! We twirled sparklers around at 6:30 pm on the Fourth of July! And…oh, I’m sure there’s more, but without photos, what’s the fun, eh?

I’m gonna publish this and see how it goes. Wish me luck! And if you have any computer advice, DO TELL.
