Lots of flowers, Mother’s Day and new art
What’s shakin’, turkey bacon?
Mr. Baby is teething right now. Meaning he was up at 4:20. And fussy ALLLL morning. And didn’t want to nap in his crib, he wanted to be held and rocked by mama during his entire nap. Sigh. High maintenance!
Right now I’m typing this as he’s awake, watching an Elmo video. We’ll see how long this lasts!
Right now at work I only have two patients…down significantly from the last few weeks, when I had 6-8.
This works out to only one and a half hours of work a day, so this week I’ve been taking the baby to the gym in the morning, and then going into work around 11:30.
Nice weather right now, having such a limited amount of work…still, I’d rather have more work. At least three hours a day, sheesh!
We go to the park every day, and then I’m taking the baby for a nap drive around 3 pm. I know it’s a terrible habit, but otherwise he wouldn’t get in that second nap!
I know eventually he won’t take two naps a day…but I’m gonna make it last as long as possible.
Everything in the front and back yard is blooming.
Lovely!
Bear Cub getting her spring trim. We finally bought some professional clippers.
Who needs a filter when the sunset produces such wonderful orange light?
I love how there are pansies growing out of the sidewalk in front of my neighbor’s house.
I love it when he cuddles with me.
Maggie dog double bedding it, a’la the Princess and the pea.
The lilacs in the backyard smell wonderful.
Mmmmmm.
I thought I was buying my usual Revlon balm stain but I accidentally got this matte lipstick instead. I love the color though!
I’m signed up to do my fourth RAW artist show next month.
I have to sell the usual 20 tickets, which is the only stressful part I find about doing the show.
I bought this silver visor at Target. Doesn’t it need some BLING?? Like sequins?
This kid loves to be outside.
The dogwood tree in our front yard is so cute.
Isn’t wisteria beautiful? I want some for our yard!
Mint sparkle manicure for Mother’s Day.
For Mother’s Day I just wanted a donut and to go to the beach. But the donut made me nauseous and then I had a headache allll daaaaay. Boo!
I’m still happy to be a mother though. And we went to the beach the following day.
Not to mention, a certain bubble butt installed not one but TWO grapevines in our backyard on Mother’s Day! Hooray!
I also created this fluid art painting on Mother’s Day while Josh took the baby to Costco.
So, ya know. Could have been worse.
Tired of flower pictures yet?
I may be reading slightly less thanks to “Panda Pop” (groan), but I’m still reading!
Current new author crush: Raymond Chandler. I really enjoy his style.
I’d say that brings us up to date! I wrote most of this blog entry with my demanding baby on my lap. Go, me!
