Flowers and art
Corinne and I need to hang out more. I told her about the Violent Femmes coming to Seattle next month…I bought Josh and I tickets. Excited!
These are my neighbor’s rhodies. I’ve seen some amazing rhodies lately–some bushes are as big as a small house! So bright and beautiful!
Dear Modcloth, I appreciate the effort and all but too little, too late. I quit ordering from them ages ago. Their stuff photographs well but in reality is overpriced and cheaply made.
Our magnolia tree is really lush this year.
Daffodils and the wooden mushroom that came with the house.
Hey how did that picture of Maui sneak in there? UNGFH SO BEAUTIFUL.
Mumsie came for a short visit! We always like that.
She took this picture of the two mens.
Isn’t spring the most beautiful season? I get happy little serotonin bursts when I drive around looking at the flowers.
THE CUTEST. Goo found a girlfriend. What a flirt!
Joshy still buys me flowers, because he is sweet.
Dog butt walk, anyone?
I cannot stop photographing flowers and plants this time of year.
Hey look it’s me, under the magnolia tree. With about three lashes left, after Maui. My eyelash lady was not impressed!
Every time the baby is in the backyard, he has to hold the watering can in one hand, and the seed tray in the other. It’s hilarious. He’ll go up and down the stairs, and all around the yard, clutching them in his baby hands.
Spotted on my neighbor’s driveway.
Hey Spring Cub! You can’t really tell, but her tail was embedded with flowers. She needs a grooming session, badly.
What’s new? I’m searching for the perfect silver ballet flats. I’m working five days a week. I have nothing planned on the May calendar, and I kinda like it. I’m going to the gym three days a week. I’m back to low-carb, because I REALLY want to lose 10-20 pounds before I get pregnant again.
I want to be pregnant NOW, but I’m waiting until January of next year.
What’s new with baby? He says “Dada”, “Mama”, “Doggy”, “Bah” (ball), “ub” (up), and signs “more”, “hat” and “milk”. Probably others too, I just can’t think of them right now.
Last month was occupational therapy month, so Joshy got this shirt. This month is speech therapy month…but I won’t get a shirt! BOO HOO.
…but who needs a shirt anyway when you look this cute? HAR HAR. This is my new sunhat and necklace, both from Maui and both cornflower blue, my Color of the Moment.
Last Friday we took the baby to the tulip fields!
It was overcast and pretty cold and he really only liked the kites but we still went, dammit!
Sometimes to the gym I will wear a space dye shirt with space dye pants. Josh maintains he doesn’t know what space dye is. My mom does. I like it!
These teeny-weeny checkerboard lilies are so cute.
This past Sunday I was allotted three hours of “me” time so I cleaned up my workstation, made a baby blanket, added art resin to a piece, added Mod Podge to another piece, read half of a book and also played Panda Pop. Then Josh accused me of “wasting” the whole day playing Panda Pop. WRONG.
Of course Panda Pop is a waste of any time but aren’t all games a waste of time, really? It just happens to be my current addiction. Next year I’ll be like, Panda what???
Latest fluid art painting.
Spotted this mural in Mount Vernon.
Alright, that’s enough! These posts get long when I don’t blog very frequently. Catch yer later, bloggers.
